Planting: How I kicked off my summer of 2012
Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 6:22PM Everyone is moving fast on these days. These days are busy. They’re important and crucial for the rest of the year. First thing is first, drive over to the shop on Guy Road swap your car with a truck, hook it up to a trailer and hit the road back to the office. Once the 20 foot trailer is backed up to the side-door it becomes time to load every necessary item on. This includes tools, tarps, dust-masks, bungee-chords, lime, water, and of course, the seed to be planted for the day; plus more items I don’t feel the need to mention right now. The truck and trailer are both full now. We make the short drive from the office to our main 20 acre field (24 blocks) just outside of Winchester.
