Time To Party It Up

So, picture this, it is Friday night, which in case you were not informed, is a party night…along with Thursday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday, but that’s not really the point. The point is that it is time to kick back after a long week of studying and doing assignments and have some fun for once.

First thing is buying whatever it is you are going to be drinking. Now no one cares what it is but please when you do it don’t make yourself look like an alcoholic because this is what I thought when I saw a bunch of boys bring several beer cases in on a luggage cart. The flip side to this is not to get caught with bringing alcohol to an alcohol-free floor, trust me when I say this, you are going to get caught or someone is going to find out; they always do. The negative to getting caught is that there is usually a nice price tag to go with that discovery; my roommate learned this lesson the hard way.

The drinks are only part of the night, and I will completely confide that almost everyone hits the clubs in their mission to have a good time, short dresses and all. Just make sure that you stay within your group of friends and don’t leave each other! My roommate went across the street one night at a club to get money from a bank and when she came out some guy took all of her money, so remember to always be with someone when you go out for a night on the town. So you can see it is probably best to lay out some rules for you and your fellow partiers to follow for the evening, just so, you know, no one gets hurt or anything.

At the end of the night the residence hallways are typically messy since there is no cleaning on the weekends so all the non-drinkers can thank the drinkers for that one. The bonus to this is the people who don’t drink get the chance to laugh at all the people who go out in the micro minis in the middle of winter and since they all wear stilettos their toes freeze so they borrow socks from a good doer at a bus stop.

But at the end of the night it is all about being with friends and having a good time, whether you stay in or go out your Friday night it guaranteed to be fun.
