Megan Lawrence is the owner and founder of Face the Music Vocal Studio, which is based in Ottawa. When I was young, my parents always told me not to wander off, that if I did, I would get lost and not know my way home. Looking back, as I stumble along the path I’m on, it’s only now that I realize that I should have listened to them more. Everything is blurry and my head feels like it’s going to explode. I can’t remember how I got here, or where here even is. All I can see are dark shapes looming over me.
Whether it’s visiting Disneyland or backpacking across a continent, you need to have a plan in place. This is not only for the tourism part, but also for safety, and mapping out the components of your plan is one of the most important steps.
