One thing to which I've always aspired is travel. I've never been on a tropical vacation, experienced strange, new cultures or seen a single one of the seven natural wonders of the world in person. Heck, I haven't even been outside Canada! Don't worry, I'm not too bent out of shape about it right now, first of all since I've got so much on my plate and secondly because I sunburn very easily. One time, (I kid you not) I burnt while wearing an SPF 60 (yep, they make a 60). Nevertheless, I do feel inclined to get out there and explore the wonders of the world outside of Canada, and some within.
Now don't think that I'm completely sheltered. I've traveled across quite a bit of Canada; from Huntsville, Ontario through Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and all the way to Pasadena, Newfoundland and Labrador. I've seen the remains of the Viking settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows and all the wonderful landscapes that eastern Canada has to offer, and I love it. What I haven't seen though, is anything to the west, and so that's where my travel plans begin. I'd like to see every province, and explore the territories, so I can really get to know about this country.
Internationally, my list is pretty expansive. Europe just has so much to offer; France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom all have such rich histories that just beg to be explored. The same is to be said for the Mediterranean. I would also love to visit Central and South America (with sunblock in tow) and experience the Maya and Aztec temples surrounded by expanses of rainforest. Hopefully in the near future, once I have a career and some money put away, I can go get a passport and check out what this world has to offer.
